Our Vision: Higher Quality for the Translation Industry

ABC is very aware of the fact that our clients place us in a position of trust. Unlike many other services, the quality of language services is hard to verify without hiring an impartial quality assurance company to inspect your multilingual products.

A Busy Division of ABC

Our Quality Assurance division is very active. Eighteen percent (18%) of our business comes from companies that suspect that their previous translation vendor(s) produced faulty or poor translations. Unfortunately, they do not realize there are problems until there are complaints from foreign language readers, or online sales are very poor.

Quality Assurance in the Translation Industry

Finding a viable, quality-delivering globalization partner requires an understanding of the industry. The following points are worth noting:

• Due to recent buy-outs and takeovers, many localization customers have lodged complaints about several mega-vendors: publicly traded companies have lost sight of the changing needs of their customers to emphasize stock-holder satisfaction
• The "democratization" of the Internet has given global access to poorly funded "mom 'n pop" operations that prove too unstable to provide ongoing customer commitment.
• Only 1 in 5 companies survive baseline Quality Assurance Verification procedures. In our experience, the most common errors include omissions, gross abuse of anglicisms, and the inconsistent use of terminology.
• Several companies, well represented on the Internet, outsource or farm out their projects to low-cost employees in the Middle East or Brazil while indicating in their promotional materials that they only use in-country native speakers on all projects.

Every project is inspected and certified for delivery by a Quality Assurance Agent who delivers an anonymous report to the Senior Project Manager assigned to your project. Corrections are made on-the-fly, and projects are always delivered on time and within budget.
