Chinese Technology Company: US Development Plan

ChinaTechGo is in the Chinese technology business. As such, they must always stay on top of new developments and continually upgrade not only their equipment, but our skills. The most critical component of their technology plan is making certain that their Chinese to English instructors are fully capable of using newly localized software in the most productive ways possible, so that they, in turn, can train their American workforce and translate training documents. To that end, our certfied Chinese to English Translators are given pre-release copies of software programs for software localization and receive pre-release training from major software manufacturers for possible software localization.

Key to ChinaTechGo's success are their English language training centers. One training center is already in operation, and they anticipate opening a second center by January 2007. This center will have 20-25 of the most up-to-date personal computers, 3-4 printers, overhead projection equipment and other audiovisual equipment. They will lease their computers for the English language training centers rather than purchase them; this enables us to always offer English speaking students the latest equipment. Chinese legal translations will be provided to ensure local requirements are met.


Their internal operations also depend on localization technology. In addition to the computers and information systems they use to conduct their ongoing Chinese to English business, they have also acquired a high speed printer/copier to enable them to produce English langauge training materials in-house less expensively. Their offices are equipped with high-speed Internet access and they have their own internal local area network (LAN) capable of supporting the localized software.


ChinaTechGo is being provided with Chinese to English website localization service. Their translated website will give background information on the Chinese company and list the schedule of English training classes available for technicians in the United States. They intend to extend the capabilities of their Chinese to English Internet site, allowing students to register for technical classes online, and to provide password-protected areas for students of corporate training classes to receive additional assistance after their English training sessions are complete. This will enable them to provide more continual English language support for their corporate clients. ChinaTechGo intends to pursue investigating online, distance learning capabilities in English. They also intend to open a manufacturing center in Mexico and Spanish website translation services will be provided.
