1. Implementation plan and project development timeline Following is a description of the proposed implementation plan and the project development timeline. It includes: a) Tasks description, and b) Project development timeline (Ghantt Diagram). a. Tasks Description The project will include three tasks: 1) Translation from English into Spanish of static content and graphics, 2) Quality assurance plan, 3) HTML version. Descriptions 1. Translation from English into Spanish of static content and graphic as indicated by Client. The purpose of this task is to generate a first draft version of the documents in Spanish. The translation will be directed to the Spanish speaking population in California. The style of the translation will specifically include local expressions and Mexican Spanish influences, and at the same time, it will draw on as many universal expressions as possible in order to make it fully understandable for the target audience. This task will include three steps: 1) translation, 2) editing for accuracy and 3) proof reading for spelling, grammar and punctuation. It is worth to mention that ABC Translationss has been involved in several projects that included the translation of key documents to be used by the Spanish speaking population in California. This task will be managed and performed fully by ABC Translationss staff. The Manager for Global Translation Services at ABC Translationss will be the project manager. She is a native Spanish speaker and has a solid background in utilities markets as well. Other staff members at Globallingua. com will also cooperate with the translation as needed. 2. Quality Assurance Plan The purpose of this task is to generate an accurate and fully understandable final Spanish version of the documents. In order to make sure the final Spanish versions reflect accurately the original content and it is fully understandable for the target audience, we propose to perform the following two sub tasks: a) Reverse translation, b) Expert review.

Sub tasks description:

a) Reverse Translation

A reverse translation exercise will be performed by an independent professional translator to guarantee that the Spanish version properly reflects the original English content. The reverse translation has been proved to be the most efficient and simple method for quality assurance in the bilingual research and marketing fields.

An accredited independent translator will be hired to perform a translation from Spanish into English.

b) Expert Review

An independent bilingual professional with expertise in the utilities market will compare the original document with its back-translated document. Comments and/or corrections will be added to the document and they will be included in the final version produced by ABC Translationss.

3. HTML version

The purpose of this task is to generate an operation HTML version of the Spanish content that follows the original style in the English version. This taks will be managed by Martin Bereciartua, Manager for Visual and Graphic Design at ABC Translationss. Martin has a strong background in bilingual webpage design and has been involved in several international projects with ABC Translationss.

b. Development timeline The development timeline has been thought to accommodate the proposed tasks and to achieve the delivery target time as required by Client.

The project development will include three milestones: 1) First Spanish version draft, at the completion of task 1: Translation 2) Final Spanish version, at the completion of the task 2: Quality assurance 3) Final Spanish version in HTML format, at completion of task 3: HTML version 4) Delivery scheduled for 15 working days after confirmation of order The work described will start when the confirmation order is received from Client and a payment for the 50% of the total budget is received on our checking account. The rest 50% will be paid after submission and approval from Client of the fully operational institutional website translation into Spanish.
